TrueBallistics is published by Molon Labe LLC. This policy explains what the app does with your information.
WHAT THE APP COLLECTS
TrueBallistics does not require an account. There is no sign in, no username, and no password. Your rifle profiles, loads, zero data, and dope are stored on your own device and are never sent to us.
The app reads your device's location in one situation only: when you press the button that fetches current weather. When you do, your coordinates are sent to the National Weather Service at api.weather.gov so the app can find the nearest reporting station and read its temperature, pressure, and humidity. The connection is encrypted. Your coordinates are used to answer that one request and are not stored by us, on our servers or anywhere else. We operate no servers.
Location is never read in the background, never read when the app starts, and never read unless you press that button. If you decline the location permission, every other part of the app continues to work and you type conditions in by hand.
WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT
We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting services. We collect no device identifiers. If the app crashes it writes a log file inside its own storage on your device so you can read it. That file never leaves your phone.
SHARING
We do not sell, rent, or share your information. The only outbound request the app ever makes is the weather lookup described above, to a United States government service.
DELETING YOUR DATA
Everything the app keeps is on your device. Uninstalling the app removes it.
CHILDREN
TrueBallistics is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.
PURCHASES
If you buy the app or a feature inside it, the purchase is handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your payment details.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
